July Fun

The 4th of July has come and gone, but I had a great weekend. I was off on Friday so I had some work done at the house. Saturday I went to a cookout and then we went to watch the fireworks called "Fire on the Mountain" in downtown Birmingham. We had a great view. The only problem is we forgot the radio so we didn't have the music. Oh, well they were just as good with out the music. It took us an hour and a half to get home. We only live 12 miles from downtown. We spent the time fellowshipping and listening to praise music.

The next weekend I headed out to Gatlinburg with my M, and friends C & E. We saw two great plays/musicals while we were up there. If you are ever in the area I would highly recommend "The Miracle" and "Exalt." The rest of the time we played "Hand and Foot" a card game, walked downtown Gatlinburg and shopped.

This past Sunday night I hosted the "Ladies Bible Study" at my house. We are doing Beth Moore's "Measureless Love." It is really great.
